Join the Android beta

Try Purrse before it launches. It takes about two minutes.

Why there's a beta

Google asks new apps to be tested by at least 12 people for 14 days before they go live on Google Play. Join in, use Purrse for two weeks, and help the cats launch. You need an Android phone and a Google account.

  1. Join the tester group

Sign in with the same Google account your phone uses for the Play Store, then tap Join group.

  2. Become a tester

Open the tester page and tap Become a tester. If it says the app isn't available, wait a few minutes after joining the group and try again.

    Open the tester page
  3. Install Purrse

On your Android phone, install Purrse from Google Play. Until launch, the listing only shows up for testers.

Questions

Is there a beta for iPhone?

Not yet. Purrse is coming to the App Store soon. Email hello@purrse.in and we'll let you know when it's out.

Will I be charged?

Purrse starts with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan, billed through Google Play. Google Play shows the price before you confirm, and you can cancel any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.

What happens at launch?

Your beta app becomes the regular app through a normal Google Play update. Your account and everything you've logged stay as they are.

Who sees my email address?

Only the Purrse team, as the group's owner. It's used to run the test and nothing else. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I leave the beta?

Open the tester page and tap Leave the program, then leave the group. You can keep the app or uninstall it.
