Small UPI payments rarely feel like spending, so they are easy to underestimate. Enter what you spend on chai, travel, delivery, subscriptions and other payments under ₹200, and this calculator shows the monthly and yearly total with a one-line reaction from a Purrse cat.
Leave blank anything that does not apply. The page does the maths as you type, in your browser only.
Per month₹0
Per year₹0
How the total is worked out
Daily items are multiplied by 365, weekly items by 52 and monthly items by 12, then added. The monthly figure is the yearly total divided by 12. It is an estimate, and it assumes you pay every day. If you skip weekends, lower the daily amounts.
Why small payments hide
A bank statement full of ₹20, ₹50 and ₹100 entries is hard to read. A Redditor in r/india described it as “my bank statement becomes chaotic”. Each payment is too small to notice, so the total is never noticed either. The guide to tracking UPI spending covers how to make them visible.
What to do with your number
Pick one habit, not all of them. Cutting one daily payment by half is easier than a vow to spend less.
Check it against a week of real data. Open your UPI app history and count the payments under ₹200.
Set a monthly limit for that category, so you notice when you are close to it.

Questions
How much do small UPI payments add up to in a year?
It depends on your habits, but the sums are larger than most people expect. A ₹40 chai and a ₹60 auto ride every day come to ₹36,500 a year before you add anything else. Enter your own numbers above to see yours.

Is my data saved or sent anywhere?
No. The sums happen in your browser and nothing you enter leaves your phone or laptop. There are no cookies or analytics on this page.
How do I find my real numbers?
Look at one week of your UPI app history, or your bank statement, and note the payments under ₹200. The guide on tracking UPI spending walks through three ways to do it without sharing your SMS.
A calculator gives you a guess. Purrse gives you the actual number: log each payment in two taps, with no SMS access and no bank link. Try it in the Android beta.
